Overview
Aizonia Publishing is a publishing house that publishes peer-reviewed international academic journals in the field of social and educational sciences and adopts open access publishing. The journals provide a broad forum environment for disciplines in the social sciences and education. The aim of the journals are to publish original works that are subject to rigorous and independent evaluations that influence and inspire scientific society worldwide. The journals are encouraged to publish in detail the results and opinions of scientists, experts and experts.
History
The foundations of Aizonia Publishing were laid in 2014. Its first journal, Current Research in Social Sciences, started its publication life on January 25, 2015. Founding editor of the journal was Prof. Dr. Yakup KARATAŞ and the journal continued its publication life as 3 issues in a year in its first years. Asst. Prof. Dr. Duygu TÜRKOĞLU has been the chief editor of the journal since 2018.
Current Research in Education, the second journal of Aizonia Publishing, started its publication life in May 2015. The journal, which continued its publication life for five years, does not continue its publication life as of now.
Aizonia Publishing has awarded the scientists who evaluated the studies submitted in its journals under the name of Aizonia Awards on 19 December 2015 for the first time in Turkey. Scientists and experts of Hacettepe University, Gazi University, Kırıkkale University, Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University and TÜBİTAK Dergipark Unit as well as editors and employees of Haber Türk Ankara and Labmedya magazine were present at the award night held in Ankara Mövenpick Hotel Bern Ballroom. After the jury work in the presence of the Ankara 63rd Notary Public awards were presented to the academics who were entitled to the award in the evening.
Mission and value
Since 2015, we have been serving to deliver many papers in the field of social sciences and educational sciences with open access publishing. Our passion is to contribute to the exchange of knowledge in the fields and to produce more knowledge for the benefit of humanity.
Open access policy
Journals of Aizonia Publishing adopts the open access publication model that provides fast, world-wide, unobstructed access to the full text of its articles, which does not require a subscription in the journal where the articles are published. The journals do not charge any fee when the article is being uploaded from the author or during the evaluation phase.
Aizonia Publishing recommends that all libraries include journals content into their library catalogs within the scope of open access policies of the journals. During these processes, no subscription and / or fee will be charged for access of electronic articles.
The works published in our journal are licensed under the Creative Commons 4.0 International License. Journals of Aizonia Publishing use the LOCKSS system to create a scattered archiving system between participating libraries, which allow the library to create permanent archives for conservation and restoration purposes. Publication ethic statement
Journals of Aizonia Publishing are committed to the principles of Committe of Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure and maintain academic and ethical publishing standards.
a. Editor responsibility
Journals of Aizonia Publishing are impartial in the submitted manuscripts to the journals. All submissions to the journals within the framework of ethical rules will be evaluated.
In the evaluation of the submitted manuscripts, double-blind peer review process is applied. In case of insufficient or conflicting reviewer opinions, another reviewew opinion may be consulted.
Any personal purpose and conflict of interest should be avoided for studies submitted to the journal.
If one of the authors of the submitted manuscript works for the same institution with the editor, another editor or guest editor will be the editor of the manuscript
b. Reviewer responsibility
Reviewers must make independent evaluation.
They are responsible for keeping the confidentiality of the manuscript and the evaluation processes.
They should avoid any personal conflict of interest for the manuscript which they evaluate.
The reviewers to be assigned to the study submitted to the journal cannot work in the same institution with the author or one of the authors.
c. Author responsibility
The author(s) are responsible for submitting an original manuscirpt to the journals.
Authors should not submit their work to a journal and this study should not have been published in another journal.
All academic, ethical and legal responsibilities of the submitted manuscripts belong to the authors.
